We strongly recommend you hire a home inspector who uses a digital camera to document all defects in the inspection report. Many home inspectors still do not use pictures to document defects. Keep in mind when an inspection issue is only documented in writing, it is more likely to be challenged by the seller.

Then we attend your home inspection with you. If your inspector does find issues with your home, we want those issues to be documented in writing and with photos. The photos will help us advocate for your goals as we negotiate the follow-up to the inspection.
